Mushrooms offer original and appealing aesthetic qualities in terms of structure, shape and texture which can be captured in other materials. Mushrooms are at the center of the natural environment, (decay, decomposition) with a short life-time, from a few days to few months, reacting according to the weather and the environment which is around them. The world of fungi is limitless and each of them carry a specific quality that reflects on their appearance. From the field research I did around Eindhoven I was inspired to reproduce through touch and interaction the surface and surroundings of this organic object.
